The new Bearspaw School which opened in 2002 offers a beautiful new school building in a peaceful rural setting for children from the Bearspaw area from ECS to Grade 8. Children are bussed to the school from the surrounding area. High school age children are bussed in to Cochrane.
Across from the Lifestyle Centre and the School is the old Bearspaw Historic Schoolhouse that was relocated from the other side of the 1A Highway a few years ago and fully renovated. It is a traditional one room schoolhouse complete with many historic artefacts and is often rented by local groups for meetings and classes. We rented it this year for our annual Client Appreciation event.
